There’s nothing to be frightened over when it comes to this knock off. I’m talking about the iconic Louis Ghost Chair created by Philippe Starck for Kartell. It’s a reinvention of the classic Louis XVI armchair made into a single form of translucent injection-molded polycarbonate. It’s an ingenious mix of history meeting modern style. This chair has been seen everywhere since about 2002.
You can buy a real version from Design Within Reach in the classic crystal color for $450. I absolutely love this chair, but I can just about do a whole room for $450!
Now for the knock off, found in an unexpected place. Staples sells the Flash Furniture Ghost Chair with Arms in the same transparent crystal for $96.69.
